GRAN CALLEJO
2018
One of the definitions of patience, del lat. patientia, is the ability to know how to wait when you want something very much.
To make a GRAN RESERVA requires a lot of patience and know-how.
The sandy soils present in Sotillo de la Ribera have a capacity to bear and suffer without altering, thanks to the deep roots of the vineyard that keep it balanced, sacrificing vigor to survive, giving a unique and very scarce fruit.
For us, Gran Callejo is a journey into the tradition of long-aging wines, where the passage of time polishes the subtlety of the Tinto Fino, with an aging of 5 years.
Our first vintage of this wine began in 1989, the year of our foundation.
